Today I wrote up a to do list for me and Sean. Most of it should and will be done soon, but there are some major projects we need to do while he's still here. Our basement is just a disaster area and I'm anxious to get it cleared and cleaned. I need to sort all of Shannon's clothes. I'm planning on getting rid of most since we won't be getting pregnant (by choice) in the next year or two. Sean could lose his place in the DEP if we get pregnant while he's in and of course boot camp and tech training won't be very conducive either, lol. Fine by me! I'm glad to have some time to just kinda relax and enjoy the ride. Life will have enough stresses and changes in the near future without adding another child. Anyway, so Sean is downstairs fixing our washer right now (the hose was leaking) and tomorrow we'll get new tires for the Vue. I need to sort through all of my clothes as well. I have so much that doesn't fit (too big) and then there are maternity clothes and stuff. I should take before and after pics! It's quite the disaster right now.

I have been having continuous headaches lately. I really think I need to start a food journal. We just found out my dad has Celiac disease and I should be tested as well. I have a lot of the risk factors and/or symptoms, so I should start seeing how what I eat affects me. Although I largely blame the headaches on shoulder tension, it could also be food. Sometimes Celiac can be 'triggered' by stuff like surgery or pregnancy and since then is when I've really noticed some changes in how my body functions.

I have to put a little plug in for my hubby in this post! I am so proud of him for getting through MEPS and for his ASVAB and DLAB scores. We're really hoping he'll get a linguist job, but we'll just have to wait. Wait wait wait... yay!!

I'm gonna get ready to go back to work. Later!

long time, no post!

I've just been busy with work and everything!

1) Sean was officially sworn into the Air Force DEP yesterday. :-) It was a very neat occasion. Sean's brother Aaron was the certifying officer who gave him the oath.

2) I'm not joining the RCC and am more confused than ever about religious matters, but I'm discovering more every day. I've found a sense of freedom in that I'm ok if I'm wrong right now. I have to trust that what I believe (or mentally assent to) isn't as important as my my overall 'belief' in the life I know I'm meant to live in the moment. That's all I can focus on now as I slowly hash out my religious beliefs.

3) I'm off to work! Hehe. I'm hoping to go to nursing school while Sean is in the AF. :-) I want to eventually be a certified nurse-midwife. Cool beans!
